Our portable housing effectively protects your electronics during transport from ambient influences such as dust, water, shocks and vibrations. But what happens when your electronics and IT also need to be protected during operation outdoors? The problem: Operation of electronic equipment produces heat, which consequently heats up the closed interior of the housing, so that the temperature rises above the specifications of the build in devices. Or it is so cold that it is not possible to safely switch on the IT components.

With the BAKOOL Air Conditioning Units (ACU), you can operate sensitive standard electronic equipment even under the most unfavourable climatic conditions. The devices are operated in a closed system, protected from water and dust. The temperature within this system is kept within the

range suitable for the equipment while offering this complete protection. Therefore, you can securely operate your mobile devices in nearly every climate zone in the world.

  • Cool and heat up with one device
  • Heat generation is done by a resistance heating element with active air circulation, ensuring quick heating of the system to operating temperature.
  • Cold generation with a compressor system using the evaporator, condenser principle with two separate active air circulation loops.

The A/C units were shock and vibration tested from TÜV Mannheim and the Test and Evaluation Unit of the German Armed Forces according to MILSTD-810F and DIN EN 60068-2-6.


The cooling and heating power ratings were tested according to the above table from the Test and Evaluation Unit Department of the German Armed Forces.
